     Persepolis, literally meaning "city of Persians", was the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Empire (ca. 550–330 BCE). Persepolis is located in Shiraz, Iran. The earliest remains of Persepolis date back to 515 BCE. Darius the Great built the greatest palace at Persepolis on the western side. Minakari or Enamelling is the art of painting, colouring and ornamenting the surface of metals by fusing over it brilliant colours that are decorated in an intricate design. The Iranian invented the art of enamel or minawork metalcraft and Mughuls spreaded it to India and other countries.
